Accoya is a modified wood, and unlike natural woods which are compact in the center but soft and crumbly on the outside, Accoya is homogeneous throughout its structure, from the bark to the core.
Insensitive to pests, mold and does not decompose, it can remain in contact with the water of a pool deck or a terrace.
Incredible resistance outdoors: used for constructions, it has excellent resistance to UV rays, much better than Teak.
Good insulation quality: very little conductor of heat and cold, it maintains an average temperature in all circumstances.
Fast growing, it can be reused and recycled. Not needing treatment for its protection, it can be used in its raw state and moreover, it does not contain any dangerous product which could penetrate the ground.
No specific maintenance is required for this innovative wood.
